Turn off the heat!

Will you hate me for mentioning that your inside temps are lower than our outside temps? I want my winter back!

No, I'll pity you for that, Katie. And unfortunately, I don't control the thermostat at work - a situation which prompts much cursing.

They keep the Engineering Department like a meat locker. They had some issues with employee turnover a few years ago. Maybe they think if our butts are frozen to our chairs, we won't leave?

It's 1 F outside right now, but inside, I swear to God, it's Spring in Siberia. I've got a blanket draped over my shoulders as I type, and thank God for my computer battery, which I use to warm my hands!

Let's pitch in together and send Katie some of our winters, okay?
